"Ahh, p-please let me go! I won't t-touch Viha—ahhh!"
I tightened my grip on her jaw, my voice slicing through her panicked cries.
"Dare to say his name with that filthy mouth of yours again."
The audacity. How dare she touch the one person I cherish the most? My rage burned hotter with every passing second.
"You drugged him. You tried kissing him without consent. And worst of all, you made my Vihaan cry. Do you have any idea how much I hate seeing him like that?"
Her lips trembled under my grip. For a brief moment, I debated ending her right here and now. But Vihaan's face flashed in my mind—his soft eyes, his gentle voice. For him, I stopped myself.
I yanked her face closer, her jaw locked under my fingers. "These lips," I spat, "are the ones that dared to touch what's mine, aren't they?"
"P-please don't—ahhhhh!" Her scream ripped through the air. It wasn't enough—not even close to enough to repay the trauma she inflicted on him. But for now, her pain would have to satisfy me.
I stared at her bloodied, trembling lips when my phone buzzed. The screen lit up, and my heart softened instantly. It was him. My Vihaan.
I answered immediately, my voice gentle. "Hello, baby. Are you okay?"
"I'm fine," he replied, his soothing voice like balm to my rage.
"I just called to ask… if you're not busy with meetings, could you come home early tonight? I wanted to cook for you."
My lips curled into a rare smile, one only he could pull out of me. "Your wish is my command, sir. Just tell me the time, and I'll be there."
"Eight o'clock." His tone was warm, soft—how could someone so fierce on the battlefield be this endearing at home?
"I'll be there, love."
"Love you."
"Love you more," I whispered before hanging up.
My expression hardened as I turned back to the trembling girl tied to the chair. "Don't kill her," I ordered my men coldly, "but make sure she begs for death every second of her miserable life."

(Later that evening)
I was in the middle of a call with Brayan, discussing an important deal. "No, Brayan, we can't allow any slip-ups. This—" I froze mid-sentence, my words catching in my throat.
"Hello? Vanya, are you there?" Brayan's voice barely registered in my ears.
"I-I'll call you back," I mumbled, quickly hanging up.
There he was. My husband. Shirtless, casual, and completely unaware of the havoc he was wreaking on me.
My eyes trailed over him, shamelessly drinking him in. "Stop staring at me like a predator, Blessing," Vihaan teased, snapping me out of my trance.
I blinked, realizing I'd been blatantly ogling my own husband. My cheeks burned.
"I wasn't staring!" I shot back, trying to sound indignant.
"Right," he replied, a smirk tugging at his lips. "If you're done, go change. I made your favorite..." I didn't let him finish.
I surged forward, capturing his lips in a fierce kiss. "B-Blessing—mmph!" he tried to speak between the kisses, but I wasn't letting him go that easily.
When I finally pulled back, I glared at him. "What were you thinking, wandering around the house shirtless?" I demanded, crossing my arms.
He chuckled. "This is our house, Blessing. I didn't think I needed a dress code."
"Right, but we don't live here alone," I snapped, still fuming. "The staff is always around. Do you think I'm okay with them seeing you like this? Your body is mine and only mine."
His playful smirk grew wider. "You're jealous."
"Vihaan, I swear—" He cut me off with a kiss, silencing my rant.
His arms wrapped around my waist, and I instinctively wrapped my legs around his torso. His warmth, his scent—I was drowning in him, and I didn't want to come up for air.
When we finally pulled away, both of us were breathing heavily. He rested his forehead against mine, smiling softly.
"Now," he said, his tone teasing, "if you're done, can we eat?"
I smirked, my fingers tracing the sharp edges of his jaw. "But I want to eat my favorite snack first."
"Blessing," he warned, but his smile told me he wasn't serious.
This man, just then my phone buzzed our eyes went to the dining table where it was buzzing I got off his arms and went to pick it up.
"Hello Brayan?"
"Vanya, your doubt on his was correct I just confirmed it from insiders." My eyes stinging with tears but I refused to let them fall.
"what happened? Is he again trying to steal you away from me" came Vihaan's voice as he back hugged me, the phone slipped from my hands clattering onto the ground.
I gritted my teeth got out of his grip.
Turned and slapped him hard across the face.
"BLESSING??" I heard the shock in his voice.
"Was it all a lie?" My voice barely above a whisper.
